Wie bei allen anderen Ersatzteilen unter der Haube: Gefälscht geht nicht. Wir bei MasterTurbo empfehlen unseren Kunden, immer einen Qualitätsturbo von einer zuverlässigen A-Marke zu wählen. Schließlich haben die Hersteller der bekannteren Turbolader-Marken jahrelange Erfahrung. Sie wissen, was funktioniert und warum. Ein A-Marken Turbolader sorgt für die Leistungsfähigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit Ihres Verbrennungsmotors. In diesem Blog gibt es ein paar Tipps von MasterTurbo: Worauf Sie achten sollten, wenn Sie sich für einen Turbo einer bekannten A-Marke wie BorgWarner, Holset, Garrett, IHI oder Mitsubishi entscheiden. Und außerdem gibt es eine erschwingliche und intelligente Option aus unserer Fachwerkstatt: einen MT ReMan Turbo. Genauso gut, aber oft ein bisschen kostengünstiger und langlebiger.
Innerhalb dieser führenden Marken gibt es kleine Einzelheiten in Technik und Design, die sich von anderen Marken unterscheiden. Es ist auch eine Frage des Geschmacks. Was sie alle gemeinsam haben: Ein guter Turboladerhersteller sorgt dafür, dass Zulieferer und Endverbraucher die Herkunft eines Turbos immer leicht erkennen können. Jeder Marken-Turbo hat mindestens ein Kennzeichen mit einer Seriennummer, die den Turbo unmissverständlich als "authentisch" und nicht als Fälschung ausweist. Normalerweise handelt es sich dabei um ein Typenschild am Turbogehäuse mit der OEM-Nummer des Fahrzeugherstellers, der eindeutigen Seriennummer mit dem Produktionsdatum und der herstellereigenen Produktionsnummer.
Diese sichere Kennzeichnung verläuft bei jedem Hersteller hochwertiger Turbolader ein wenig anders. Bei BorgWarner zum Beispiel ist das die "BW-Nummer. Letztere Nummer ist die am häufigsten verwendete im Falle von Fragen oder einem möglichen Service am bereits ausgelieferten Turbo.
Bei der Marke Garrett - unter dem Motto Advancing Motion - man sieht es bereits in der erkennbaren, original Garrett Verpackung in rot und schwarz, immer mit dem Markennamen Garrett oben rechts in roten Buchstaben. Und darüber hinaus eine Indikation für den Turbolader-Typ: Original, ReMan, Performance. Das Typenschild von Garrett kann je nach Region leicht variieren. Für drei Vertriebswege verwendet Garrett Typenschilder für seine Turbolader: OE Manufacturer, OE Spares und Aftermarket.
Bei den OE-Versionen sehen Sie auch ein Logo des Fahrzeugherstellers, wie Mercedes oder Volkswagen-Audi. Es bezeichnet immer das Turbolader-Modell, das Herkunftsland, die eindeutige Seriennummer und die Teilenummer im IAM-Format (Aftermarket). Beachten Sie, dass auf älteren Turbolader von Garrett auch Namen wie Garrett AiResearch, AlliedSignal, Garrett Engine Boosting Systems oder Honeywell vorkommen können.
Sie erkennen einen echten Holset-Turbolader folgendermaßen: Auf dem Typenschild befinden sich neben dem Holset-Turbolader vier Codes. Einer der mit dem Buchstaben H beginnt und dann eine eindeutige Seriennummer aufweist, ist die Produktionsnummer von Holset. Unten befindet sich das Turbolader-Modell, z.B. HX55-1. Dazwischen befindet sich auch eine sogenannte "Kundenteilnummer", die vom Motorenhersteller und dem Fahrzeug, in dem der Turbolader eingesetzt wird, vergeben wird.
Ein IHI-Turbo kann auf die gleiche Weise identifiziert werden wie ein Garrett-Turbo. Wieder ein Typenschild mit Informationen, oder die gleiche Information ist auf dem runden Gehäuse des Kompressors eingraviert. In jedem Fall finden Sie eine IHI-Identifikation, bestehend aus 4 Ziffern/Buchstaben, z.B. VF50. Wobei der zweite Buchstabe (im Beispiel das F) etwas über den Autohersteller aussagt. In diesem Fall steht das F für Subaru. Alle weiteren Informationen befinden sich ebenfalls auf dem ID-Schild, wie die OEM-Nummer und die Seriennummer mit dem Herstellungsdatum. Zahlen-/Buchstaben-Kombinationen wie RHF52 und RHV4 sagen etwas über den Typ des Turboladers aus.
Auffallend: Der Großkonzern Mitsubishi hat sogar vor dem erhöhten Risiko minderwertiger Fälschungen gewarnt. Das stellt ein wachsendes Problem dar, da immer mehr Produkte online bestellt werden. Darüber hinaus sehen diese Fälschungen oft echten Qualitätsprodukten verblüffend ähnlich. Die Automobilindustrie ist laut Mitsubishi keine Ausnahme. Fälschungen erscheinen vielversprechend, können aber für die Kunden teuer (und ärgerlich!) werden. Denn die "echten" Top-Qualitätsturbolader von Mitsubishi werden ausnahmslos von hochpräzisen Robotern gefertigt und dann unter rauen Bedingungen leistungsgeprüft. Bei Fälschungen ist dies in der Regel nicht der Fall.
Ein wichtiges Beispiel ist die bei den Marken geforderte "Druckfestigkeitsprüfung". Dieser Test stellt sicher, dass alle Turbinenbauteile sicher im Gehäuse bleiben, wenn eines der Turbinenblätter kaputtgeht oder beschädigt wird.
Ob es sich um einen originalen Mitsubishi Turbolader handelt, lässt sich wiederum am Kompressorgehäuse ablesen. Bei Mitsubishi handelt es sich um eine feste MHI-Bauteilnummer, die immer aus einer fünfstelligen Zahl, gefolgt von einem Bindestrich und einer weiteren fünfstelligen Zahl besteht. Die gängigsten Modelle der Mitsubishi Turbolader beginnen alle mit den Nummern 491 oder 493. Beachten Sie, dass die ersten fünf Ziffern der Typennummer 49173-06100 manchmal auch auf 73-16100 abgekürzt werden.
