A kind of mobile crane, compactly designed to maneuver between trees. Equipped with a very long slewing boom with a saw, manned by an operator in a cabin. So powerful and versatile is this Valmet 911, which can super-efficiently "cut down" mature trees as if they were flowers, then strip their bark and chop them into small pieces in one go. Not surprisingly, that requires a lot of extra turbocharger power. It is an industry, where reliability and longevity is of utmost importance, because shutting down timber production (in remote forest locations) can cost millions. Low maintenance costs and great performance are always the best to keep the price per cubic meter of wood manageable. In these cases, an always solid working turbocharger for your best friend is a blessing.

The versatility of the BMTS turbo

With other customers, this BMTS turbo is used for a completely different application. Especially tractors of the traditional, rock-solid British tractor brand Massey Ferguson. They appear to work great in combination with the already powerful Massey Ferguson diesel engines.
