Various turbochargers are used in the passenger car sector. There are used since the late 1970s. After Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot also started using turbochargers. For years now, turbochargers have been a permanent fixture at many car manufacturers.

IHI for BMW

From IHI, we have the 9VB01 in stock. This turbo is applicable for the BMW brand and suitable for automotive applications. Since the summer of 2022, MasterTurbo has been the official Dutch distributor of IHI turbos. The brand was founded in 1853 as a shipyard. Later, as the company modernised, they started working on various structures, including bridges. When the brand started growing outside Japan, they also started manufacturing turbochargers. The company has already produced over 85 million turbochargers, making it a strong, indispensable name in the world of turbo’s.

Holset for Scania trucks

The Holset brand is also well represented on MasterTurbo's shelves. The company was founded in 1952 in the UK and in 1954 received permission from the inventor of the turbo, Dr. Alfred Büchi from Switzerland, to start manufacturing and selling turbochargers. Over the years, Holset has developed as a strong player in the market. Since 2006, Holset has officially been called Cummins Turbo Technologies, but remains popularly known as Holset. Meanwhile, turbochargers are made in several countries under the Cummins Turbo Technologies banner and one of the offices is located in the Netherlands. From this brand, MasterTurbo has the 4031040H turbo in stock, among others. This turbo is suitable for use in Scania trucks.

Mitsubishi for the Volkswagen Crafter

The most recently added brand to the MasterTurbo range is Mitsubishi. Since November 2022, MasterTurbo has been the official distributor of this brand. In the automotive sector, Mitsubishi is a world-famous brand. But they are also an indispensable player in the field of turbos. Turbochargers from Mitsubishi are known, among other things, for their quiet operation. Today, the brand supplies turbos for more than 30 European, Asian and American vehicle brands. There are several turbos from Mitsubishi in stock, but one of them is the 49T77-07535, suitable for the Volkswagen Crafter. A strong turbo, known for its long service life.
