Besides supplying standard turbos, there is also a great deal of customisation in the agricultural sector. Keeping an agricultural vehicle at a standstill during the harvesting season is costly in both time and money. Also, the parts for the turbos in these vehicles may become unavailable over the course of time. Consider beet harvesters, for example. These machines may run for just a few weeks a year but, overall, have to last for many years. This type of machine may well be ‘as good as new' after 15 years however the parts may no longer be readily available.
